Terms of Service

Welcome to Kushora ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering for, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our accompanying Privacy Policy.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an institution (such as an engineering college or university), you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

Kushora is a comprehensive engineering placement preparation platform that bridges the gap between academia and industry requirements. Key services offered include:

• Adaptive Aptitude Testing: Automated, customized, and company-wise aptitude practice and tests.
• Advanced Coding Workspace: Multi-language programming playground and evaluations with code compilers.
• Interview Simulation Studio: AI-evaluated and recording-based technical and HR interview preparation.
• Reports & Analytics: Visual performance trackers, top-performer rankings, and department-wide metrics for faculty coordinators.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service of the platform at any time without prior notice.

The platform categorizes users into specific roles, each with strict responsibilities:

1. Institutional Administrators: Responsible for initiating institutional access, verifying official contact details via OTP, onboarding departments, and designating verified faculty.
2. Faculty/Staff Coordinators: Responsible for creating classrooms, designing curriculum paths, scheduling aptitude and coding tests, inviting students via secure codes, and auditing performance records.
3. Engineering Students: Entitled to join classrooms using valid coordinator-issued access codes, practice tests, check dashboards, and prepare for placement. Students must provide genuine profiles.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (including passwords and verification OTPs) and are liable for all actions performed under your account.

To provide immediate feedback, Kushora uses advanced AI algorithms (including integrations via Firebase AI Logic and LLMs) to grade programming code submissions and evaluate mock interviews.

While we continuously train our evaluation modules for maximum accuracy, you acknowledge that:

• AI feedback is educational and indicative rather than absolute.
• Slight grading anomalies can occur based on compiler edge-cases or spoken-language variances in audio/video recordings.
• Decisions regarding final placement shortlists or internal grades lie entirely with the institutional placement coordinators and hiring companies, not with Kushora's automated logs.

We process data to maintain placement records and performance analytics:

Data Stored: Student profiles, aptitude scores, code submissions, chat logs, virtual interview recordings, dashboard analytics, and logs of student progress are stored securely in our Firebase Realtime Database clusters.

Sharing: Student metrics, coding responses, and progress graphs are fully accessible to authorized faculty coordinators and administrators of the corresponding institution. We do not sell user data to third-party advertisers.

Security: All database transfers are secured using HTTPS/SSL and audited against modern safety rules. However, no transmission method over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute database invulnerability.

Platform Ownership: All custom code, design elements, animations, page logic, compiler frameworks, and pre-packaged test banks are the exclusive intellectual property of Kushora Technologies and its licensors.

User Submissions: Coding answers, project submissions, and feedback uploaded by students remain the copyright of the submitting user. By submitting work, you grant Kushora a royalty-free, worldwide license to host, parse, run, and share your submissions with your institution for evaluation.

Institutional Content: Any study material, customized questions, or slides uploaded by Faculty remain the property of the respective faculty member or institution.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. KUSHORA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL ALWAYS BE SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

KUSHORA DOES NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT, PLACEMENT SELECTION, OR EXAM CLEARANCE FOR ANY STUDENT. PREPARATION OUTCOMES DEPEND ON INDIVIDUAL PRACTICE, APTITUDE, AND INDEPENDENT CORPORATE RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KUSHORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

We or your Institutional Administrator may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time if:

• You violate these Terms of Service or institutional rules of conduct.
• We suspect unauthorized account sharing, cheating, or security compromise.
• The institution's subscription or evaluation period expires.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You may request backup exports of your placement metrics through your institutional placement officer prior to termination.

These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Gondia, Maharashtra, India.

In the event of any dispute, users are encouraged to contact our support channels to seek amicable resolution before initiating formal legal proceedings.
